Merchant Responsibilities:

  1. Obtain a copy of an ID (drivers license or state issued ID)
  2. Receive down payment check and post-dated checks (personal or dba checking account) from customer.
  3. Obtain copy of income verification (pay stub or bank statement showing direct deposit)
  4. Have customer sign the ARCNET payment terms and agreement (make sure you keep this for your records)
  5. Respond to GCS within 3 days with the above information if you are notified that a check bounces.
  • What is ARC?

    Accounts Receivable Conversion is a recurring payment that is scheduled to ACH the customer's account for the agreed upon dates and amounts.

  • How much can the customer finance?

    Unlimited (per income)

  • What if the customer has a NSF?

    If you completed the initial due diligence properly (customer application, copy of acceptable check stub or documented income verification (bank statements), in accordance with the ARCNET program requirements, and your NSF return rate is below 10%, we will pay the NSF as agreed. GCS does a thorough check of the check writer, to protect you, and our interests. We want to do business with you for many years to come!

  • What are the customer requirements?

    Proof of employment (a check stub), or bank statement to show proof of verifiable income submitted to you, a checking account in good standing with various check verification firms, and a valid drivers license or state ID.

  • How many checks may a customer write over a 90 day period?

    It is unlimited. Each individual check can't be over $2,500.00.

  • How can you ensure that the customer is not a writer of bad checks?

    After you enter the checks to GCS, the information will be forwarded to several check verification networks to ensure the validity of the check and check writer.

  • Are there income qualifications?

    The customer's gross income must be 2x (double) the purchase price. Example, if customer A is purchasing dental work that costs $1000.00, customer should have a monthly gross income of $2000.00.

  • How long before the customer knows he or she is approved?

    Usually, within 5 to 10 seconds.

  • When will I, the merchant, receive my funds?

    You will receive your funds within 1 to 2 days of the date the post dated check was written for.

  • What if the customer wants to pay off their account early?

    The customer would pay YOU directly, and then you would cancel the remaining checks on line, or you may call customer service.
